BURNING SONS came together in 2010 during a long cold winter when the members other bands -- which include Speedfreaks and Cry Coyote -- were on hiatus. The guys would get together, drink beer, and quickly bash out blistering, metaltinged punk songs inspired by their shared love of the singles put out by 80s independent labels such as Southern Californias Mystic Records and Englands Clay Records. Mystic specialized in hardcore acts like Dr. Know, Suicidal Tendencies, Aggression, and Battalion Of Saints.A year after their debut E.P. Masquerade (also on Mystic) BURNING SONS return with a NEW 12" release, Reduced ToEquality. It was recorded upon their return from their West Coast tour where the band coalesced into a bruising unit only formerly hinted at.
