Schon etwas älter, aber immer noch wert hier seinen Platz in Zeichen und Wort zu finden. Diese Doppel-CD mit 23 Tracks gehört sicherlich zu einer lohnenswerten Anschaffung des Spätsommers, zumal das Vinyl gerade mal mit 11 Tracks aufwarten kann. Nach allerlei Hype und bedeutsamer Textflut bietet die SourceLab-Compilation die Basis für eigene Reflexion von Können oder nur Wollen diverser französischer Acts. Mit dabei sind Fantom (die den Disco-Zug fahren lassen), Hi-Way (mit Posaunen Drum&Bass), Aleph (mit Minimalhouse), I:Cube (mit Reload-Anleihe), Low Tone Priority (Deeper House) sowie Scratch-Pet-Land, daß jeder Klassifizierung strotzt und jede Mark dieser CD wert ist. Ein Ausflug für die Ohren, den man jedem wünscht.
