Der alte Mann und das Mehr: Pops Staples, 78, schlendert dermaßen entspannt und beseelt durch eigenes wie fremdes Repertoire der zweiten Solo-CD, daß sich Jüngere - also praktisch alle - eine dicke Scheibe abschneiden können. Die Töchter Mavis, Cleotha und Yvonne stehen ihm zur Seite, Gitarrist Ry Cooder und Drummer Jim Keltner; zwei Bar-Keys polieren den Memphis-Groove.
