Founded by Survival Research Lab's GX Jupitter-Larsen, The Haters were formed in 1979. As America's premiere noise act, The Haters remain as active as ever with hundreds of releases and a multitude of performances on every continent. The ever-changing membership of The Haters has been as few as 1, as many as 12. Maybe the best known release by The Haters is a 1983 silent record complete with instructions which informs the holder that he must first complete the record by scratching it before he can listen to it on his stereo.
