In Concert

Baritonsaxofoongrootheid Gerry Mulligan bracht zijn pianoloze kwartet met Art Farmer naar het Falkoner Centret (Kopenhagen) op 21 mei 1959. Het overwegend Deense publiek was gebiologeerd door hun "coole" geluid van hun zgn. West Coast Jazz. Omdat het kwartet het in de jaren '50 maar kort bestond, zal dit album een van de zeldzame historische uitgaven zijn. Bassist Bill Crow van het kwartet (nu 95 jaar oud) gaf een interview aan Andrew Hoven voor de liner notes, wat een heerlijke tekst oplevert.
