Dit album gaat over Tadd Dameron (1917 - 1965), een van de belangrijkste Amerikaanse jazzcomponisten/muzikanten. Meervoudig prijswinnaar Gary Smulyan bedacht het briljante idee om Damerons composities op te nemen met tekst. De zangpartij wordt fenomenaal vertolkt door het jonge talent Ana´s Reno.
