Duke Jordan vroegste succes kwam als lid van het Charlie Parker Quintet en hij componeerde een aantal jazzstandards. Na een lange onderbreking als gevolg van zijn drugsproblemen in de jaren '60 werd pianist Jordan `gered' door een handvol Deense jazzliefhebbers en hervatte hij zijn professionele carriÞre in Europa en Japan. Op deze cd horen we een live-opname uit de befaamde jazzclub Montmartre in hartje Kopenhagen.
