Tenorsaxofonist, componist en nu ook advocaat (immigratiezaken) Ari Ambrose wordt door zowel publiek als critici gezien als een van de innovatiefste improvisators. Op dit 14e album kijkt Ambrose terug op de muziek die hem in zijn jeugd inspireerde. Met zijn band bestaande uit trompettist Alex Norris, bassist Jay Anderson en drummer Donald Edwards speelt hij stukken van Duke Ellington, Kenny Dorham, Allie Wrubel en Cole Porter, plus twee composities van Ambrose zelf.
