Kornettist Kirk Knuffke en pianist Jesse Stacken zijn op Five de samenwerking aangegaan. Zij spelen muziek van twee zeer uiteenlopende componisten, namelijk Carla Bley en Bill Evans. Het resultaat is een intrigerend amalgaam van twee artiesten die op het eerste gezicht niets anders gemeenschappelijk hebben dan hun talent.
