Op zijn zevende cd voor SteepleChase stelt tenorsaxofonist Jed Levy zijn compositorische kwaliteiten centraal. The Italian Suite is inderdaad een suite die de hele cd in beslag neemt. Het is Jed's impressie van ItaliÙ, waar hij veel naartoe ging en concerten gaf. Zijn kwartet bestaat uit Misha Tsiganov (piano), Thomas Kneeland (bas) en Alvester Garnett (drums).
