Diver

Mate is een All-Star groep, bestaande uit Latijns-Amerikaanse muzikanten die in Amsterdam wonen. Marco Carillo Coppia, Chileen van geboorte, is de leider, componist en tevens arrangeur. De Venezolaanse percussionist Marco Toro (Toro Ensamble) is zijn wapenbroeder in dit project. Mate brengt een mix van Latijns-Amerikaanse ritmes, zoals salsa, songo en guaguanco gecombineerd met hip-hop, reggae en zelfs wat Zappa.
