BSX Records, in association with Citadel Records presents classical works by Alan Hovhaness and Henry Cowell including Hovhaness's The Holy City performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Arthur Bennett Lipkin, Triptych as performed by the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra and the Bay Rund Singers conducted by Alfredo Antonini and featuring soprano Benita Valente and Meditation On Orpheus as performed by the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by William Strickland and Akeo Watanabe. Works by Henry Cowell include Music 1957 for full symphony orchestra with added bells, celesta, five anvils and five tom-toms performed by the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by William Strickland and Akeo Watanabe and Synchrony as performed by the Polish National Radio Orchestra conducted by William Strickland.
