The group identifies as "B-cl" salsa whose music touches on themes of human suffering in the urban city landscape, such as police brutality, social marginalization, and addiction. Meridian Brothers has worked together with El Grupo Renacimiento at the clic Isaac Newton studios in Bogotá, Colombia to capture this "Fantasy Salsa Dura" music.
