Jolly Jumper and Big Moe are Europe's most exciting acoustic blues duo. They play blues from the 1920s through to the '40s, from Mississippi slide to Piedmont guitar picking. Shades of Blind Blake, Mississippi John Hurt, Lightning Hopkins and Little Walter can be heard in their music. They are fast becoming the favourite guitar and harp duo on the live circuit. "Bootleggers Blues" is their debut album, produced by Jan Erik Birkeland (Eric Bibb's guitarist) and showcases their varied skills as multi-instrumentalists and true entertainers.
