Despite playing a substantial role in launching the recording careers of two hallowed legends - Rufus Thomas and Professor Longhair - Jesse Erickson's Dallas-based Talent and Star Talent labels are all but forgotten in the annals of postwar rhythm and blues. This is the first authorized collection of the Star Talent Records label, all remastered from the original 78s.
