KURZBESCHREIBUNG
The six side EP, featuring Waters' original material, is reminiscent of the great balladeers and singer/songwriters of the 1940s through the 1970s, including Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Joan Baez, and John Denver. Waters' lyrics speak to environmental issues, as well as the human spirit, and other philosophical ideals. Some of Nashville's top studio players lent their talents to the CD, including Chris Leuzinger, Tony Harrell, and former John Denver players Tom Roady and Peter Huttlinger. Engineered by Tom Harding, the album was recorded at the historic Woodland Studio room, with additional overdubs and mixing at Dark Horse Studios and Tombstone Recording.

BIOGRAPHIE DER MITWIRKENDEN
Sunny Waters Fuses Music and Message With Amazing Success
Singer/songwriter Sunny Waters, who's new CD release, "This Is Me," has been receiving rave reviews, in addition to enormous exposure on a number of Internet chat rooms and bulletin boards. He brings to his music many of the same qualities as Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, John Denver, Peter Yarrow, Gordon Lightfoot, Judy Collins, Joan Baez and other popular balladeers and singer/songwriters of the past 50 years. His lyrics speak to environmental issues, human emotions, and philosophical ideals so lacking in many of the 'cookie cutter' acts that cover the current music landscape.
Growing up in the Midwest as one of five brothers, his family loved listening to music--of all varieties--and this upbringing prepared Sunny well for his inevitable pursuit of a professional music career. "I can never remember a time when I wasn't singing along to music on the radio or stereo, or picking out chords on my guitar," commented Sunny. "By the time I was seven, music was so much a part of my life that I knew it would have to figure into my future. I just didn't know to what degree or what shape or form it would take," he added. "I believe that all those years of listening to music left an indelible impression on me and set the stage for my passion to perform". By the early 80s, it was apparent that Sunny would pursue a career as a professional singer/songwriter/performer.
Sunny enjoyed playing many of the classic recording artists of the 70s, including The Eagles, Neil Diamond, Elton John, and his personal favorite, John Denver. In the 80s and 90s, he added more favorites such as The Indigo Girls, Beth Nielson Chapman, Suzy Boggus, and Clint Black. After playing lead guitar and singing in various bands for five years, Sunny decided to 'go it alone,' and embarked upon a solo career. By the late 80s, he was earning a living as a traveling entertainer, opening for Kris Kristofferson, performing in a variety of venue types, doing local television appearances, and involvement in his favorite causes, all the while honing his singing and writing talents.
Over the past ten years, Sunny has performed more than 2,500 shows, in 200 venues, in 80 different cities spanning 12 states. This has included shows for state governors, mayors and civic leaders, in addition to various conventions and associations, be it intimate small clubs, or larger auditoriums and theaters. Sunny has additionally served as a 'master of ceremonies' for a number of events, as well as serving on the 'Board of Advisors' for organizations including the American Heart Association, Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Kidney Foundation, the Arthritis Foundation and Sky Ranch for Boys.
Sunny has also been heavily involved in a number of environmental causes, including the plight of the endangered Yellowstone "Grey Wolf," and his message has reached countless thousands of fans, as well as activists for this, and other key issues.
At the core of Sunny's success are the strong ideals and heartwarming messages that are the focal point of his music. These are the same messages that have endeared Sunny to an ever-growing number of friends and fans who continue to be touched and inspired by his music.
