A new project, Draconicon, was born from the minds of five musicians located throughout the Italian territory. Theirintent was to make Draconicon a fully-fledged power metal project, a mix of dark and gothic atmosphere, the resultof the awakening of an Ancient Evil, left forgotten for so long."Dark Side of Magic" is the first act of Draconicon, an introduction to their world. The story is about a Dark Forceawakening to rule the world over contaminated by humanity, the beginning of Draconicon. The hunger for power ledthe mortals to the dark side, summoning the Order Draconis. This meant the rise of the chosen ones, bringers ofchaos, wild beasts preying on human despair.The sound of Draconicon is European style power metal, inspired by the great masters of the genre with influencesranging from extreme metal to classical music, resulting in an unique timbre that will bring the listener into the darkworld of Draconicon.
