For 42 years Smithfield Fair has been a creative force in vocal and acoustic music and subtly including instrumental 'theme' musics for the movies of the mind. With this, their 30th album, they group new and old short works for listener daydreaming. With abstract titles to suggest flights of fancy, each work is like a marble - complete and unique unto itself - but here gathered within a collection that is rampant with color, swirl, various design and insights. Largely built around the accordion/guitar underpinning of Smithfield Fair's larger vocal works (though solo piano and guitar works are included) - the motive power of the pieces is the spark of thought from which the unconscious mind crafts intriguing glances to be suggested and considered. The trio of Smithfield Fair continues selectively to perform throughout North America bringing it's eclectic and unique music to audiences for discovery and orchestration of hopeful thought and reflection.and occasionally a bit dangerous.
