These songs demonstrate the undeniable relationship between nature and all things, that is beautiful and poetic. Cellist Michael Kott returns from her previous album ' Evidence of Life ', to grace these thirteen songs. His playing is breathtaking along with Martha's beautiful voice, guitar and keyboards. Grammy award winning Producer, Larry Mitchell co-produced this CD along with Martha. Larry also plays his amazing guitar on two of the tracks! Gregg Braden makes a haunting contribution to ' Buddha Blue ', with his Native Flute and Guitar, and Josh Martin adds sparkle and grounded touches with his Mandolin and Bass Guitar. Martha veers from her Ballads with an experimental instrumental piece, using a dramatic upbeat tempo combining keyboard and violin, in ' Heart waves '. And she performs a rendition of ' Moon River ', not to be missed. Trees are bridges. They originate below the surface and unfold into the sky, beholding the sun, the clouds and the stars.
