I started writing this music after seeing the sculptures of Rennie Godfrey, they were beautiful nativities, with jewels in the Wise Men's clothing, very authentic looking. I contacted her and we started talking about women of the Bible. Rennie is a very inspiring person to talk to, and a couple days later as I was reading about Esther, Esther's situation opened up to me like never before. I wrote 'For Such a Time as This' in about 2 hours. Not all the songs came that quickly and some came a little faster. I'm so grateful the Lord has given me this gift of music. I feel that although I have taken the trouble to learn how to craft a song. It is the Lord that makes this music wonderful. To me this music is all about rejoicing in the profound LOVE that Heavenly Father has for all of his daughters!
