Daggerboard Escapement con Henry Franklin, Erik Jekabson, Matt Clark, Gregory Howe e Mike Clark, è un nuovo album di 12 canzoni originali e orchestrazioni eseguite da un ensemble tutto intorno. Il batterista del cacciatore di teste Mike Clark e Henry "The Skipper" Franklin tengono premuto la sezione ritmica mentre Matt Clark accende il pianoforte ed Erik Jekabson vola sulla tromba. Avventurandosi fuori dalle texture sincopate del minimalismo classico, Daggerboard esplora molte firme temporali e movimenti musicali, il tutto nel cuore di una sensibilità jazz. Su Escapement sono presenti anche Mads Tolling al violino, Kasey Knudsen al sassofono, Mike Rinta al trombone, Ben Davis al violoncello, Jonathan Ring al corno francese e William Winant su marimba e timpani.
