At a boarding school in Southern France in 1962, questioning François (Gaël Morel) and Marxist Maïté (Élodie Bouchez) bonded over movies and music. Things got complicated when François fell for handsome local Serge (Stéphane Rideau), who was actually attracted to Maïté. and got complicated further when she found herself in love/hate with far-right new student Henri (Frédéric Gorny).
