The new movie, Persecuted, opening in July 2014, stars Dean Stockwell, Fred Thompson, Brad Stine, Raoul Trujillo, Natalie Grant, and Gretchen Carlson. It depicts Americas most respected religious leader, John Luther, as the last obstacle in the way of the passage of legislation which would require all religious leaders give equal time to other faiths. When Luther refuses to support the legislation, sinister political forces frame Luther for the murder of an innocent teenage girl. TV preacher turned fugitive, Luther must stay alive long enough to prove his innocence and expose corruption at the highest levels of politics and religion.
