Mit einem Lebenslauf, der auf die herrlichen Tage des Chess Records Imperiums zurückgeht, wird Sugar Pie DeSanto mit 84 Jahren noch aufgenommen und gelegentlich auftritt, und hat viele ihrer Kollegen überlebt. Sie war legendär für ihre Bühnenaufführungen. Kreativer A & R Mann für Schach, Roquel 'Billy' Davis einmal delared, Sugar Pie konnte Etta James übertreffen, mit dem The Sugar eine Handvoll Duetten sang. Mit mehr als 100 Liedern hat Sugar Pie eine neue Veröffentlichung auf Jasman Records mit dem Titel Sugar's Suite a 4 Song EP produziert von James Moore, Sr., mit Arrangements von dreimaligem Emmy Produzent / Arranger Bill Jolly. Neben der 4 Song EP im CD-Format werden das kreative Design und die Verpackung mit Bildern von einem der besten Fotografen Italiens Gianni Grandi geschickt erweitert. Liner-Noten sind vom geschätzten Musik-Journalist, Lee Hildebrand.
