Roo

Roo è stato registrato nell'autunno del 2006 fino all'inverno 2007 a casa di Buck. La prima tappa di Roo fu Goldenbug Studios, dove Buck si sedette con Mike Kohler (Miramax, New York Magazine). Poco dopo Buck si è diretto ai bellissimi Newkirk Studios per seguire alcuni musicisti ospiti, tra cui Scott Garapolo (Frank Fillipetti, Steve Albini), Dan Fabragatore, Gerald Menke (Super Furry Animals, Stars Like Fleas) e Boshra AlSaadi (Looker). Buck ha arruolato il produttore interno di Newkirk Ben Rice (The Mooney Suzuki, Surefire) per mixare l'album, e poi lo ha lasciato nelle mani di Mark Christensen (Ben Folds, Gavin DeGraw, Moby, Nick Cave, Ben Kweller, ecc.) a Engine Room Audio da padroneggiare. Il risultato canta per se stesso. Tutto quello che devi fare è ascoltare.
