ABOUT THE ARTIST
Feathergun is a melodic rock band. Blending elements from classic rock bands such as Cheap Trick, ELO and the Beatles, Feathergun serves up a modern day pop/rock vibe. Musical comparisons include Weezer, Ben Folds, Blind Melon and Jellyfish, with vocal styling reminiscent of Lenny Kravitz and Elvis Costello. Yet all comparisons fall short to embody the true essence of Feathergun. Feathergun introduces the terms 'Cubicle Rock' and 'Power Point Pop' to describe it's unique sound, inspired by their days spent working in the corporate world. With a groove this janky and a style so catchy, the 'gun is sure to make you smile all the while.

Feathergun is the brainchild of Sam Lewis. Hailing from Chicago, Lewis moved to Los Angeles with a pocket full of sugar sweet pop numbers and a pair of beach sandals. He recruited old time friend and bassist extraordinaire Jesse McCabe, another child of Illinois. McCabe co-wrote many song lyrics with Lewis before heading into the studio to record some of the first Feathergun demos. Garrett Smith joined up shortly after to provide a solid rhythm backbone and powerful backing vocals to make this trio what it is today.
