Best 10 Jazz CDs of 2001 by JAZZIZ magazine. Since her arrival in New York in 1987, Virginia has worked with many giants of jazz, including Joe Williams, Kenny Barron, Clark Terry, Al Grey, Leon Parker, Rosemary Clooney, Dena DeRose and many others. On
Phantoms , she presents a mix of standards and originals, backed by Ingrid Jensen on trumpet/flugelhorn, Harvie S. on acoustic bass, and Allison Miller on drums and percussion.
