Maskineri

The Norwegian sextet Kaizers Orchestra build cathartic rock songs that borrow heavily from the tunes of Tin Pan Alley and Eastern European folk music. The band took some time between their third and fourth album. After touring heavily the band decided to try something else and hooked up with Canadian producer and engineer Mark Howard (Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Iggy Pop). Maskineri was recorded at Planet Roc in former East Berlin, and mixed at Jim Henson studios in LA. The album was praised by critics and the band was credited for their willingness to explore new musical territory. Maskineri was a crucial part of the bands process and produced some great songs. Red vinyl excluive to Denmark.
