For THE SHYS,its been an interesting and fun ride. Like the music industry itself,there have been ups and downs. But one thing that hasnt changed is the ease with which The Shys make new fans. After causing a stir in 2005 with their debut EP,The Shys continued to impress with their first full length,Astoria,in 2007. Call in the Cavalry,the first single from that album,has been prominently featured in MTVs Fast,Inc, as well as the HBO hit series Entourage. Recently it can be heard in the new Owen Wilson Film Drill Bit Taylor. The Shys recently finished recording their second full length album entitled Youll Never Understand This Band The Way That I Do. The album will be in stores and available through all digital outlets on June 24,2008. The band will be performing a series of regional dates throughout the next few months and will be releasing an extended digital single in advance of the full length release. Look out for special CD Release events in your town soon! The Shys plan to head back out on tour to see old friends and to make new ones. And with the types of performances The Shys are known for,it shouldnt be long before everyone knows them. And vice-versa.
