Lava Children have been cultivating a composite of psychedelia and dusty dream-rock since their founding in an Altadena, California garage. Following the release of their self-titled mini-lp, Lava Children have garnered praise from PopMatters, Tiny Mix Tapes and NPR, as well as acclaim from their label mates, Black Moth Super Rainbow. Their new self-titled full length, to be released on Graveface Records on June 19th, builds on the foundation already established by their 2009 mini-lp.
