The serene beauty of Mirabai Ceiba’s The Quiet Hour is an antidote for turbulent times. Angelika Baumbach’s voice wells up like a stream and blossoms forth with sublime poetry. The deep, loving bond between Baumbach and her musical life partner― multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Markus Sieber― is palpable, as their instruments and voices intertwine on Mirabai Ceiba’s most intimate album to date. The album is produced by TONY Award-winner and GRAMMY nominee, Jamshied Sharifi. The song “Take On A Thousand Forms” is an intimate duet between Angelika Baumbach and Academy Award-winning singer/songwriter Markéta Irglová, best known for the movie and musical ‘Once’.
