The Lover, The Stars & The Citadel

"The lover, The stars & The citadel" is the 7th album of Deleyaman. The album includes 11 tracks and features Brendan Perry of Dead Can Dance (greek bouzouki on "Escape" and percussion programming on "Autumn Sun"). It is another step forward in the band's discography following their 2014 album "The Edge". The lyrics of the songs tackle the themes of love, solitude and revolt. Another recent and important development for Deleyaman is that two of the band's songs from their 2003 album "Second" will be a part of the soundtrack of the film "Rouges sont les rêves" starring Gerard Depardieu and Emmanuelle Seigner, directed by the french nouvelle vague actress and director Fanny Ardant. The film is planned for release in January 2017.
