Bach to Folk

Het debuutalbum van het Lodestar Trio is nogal opvallend. De drie leden van het trio zijn uitstekende muzikanten, ze brengen nieuwe interpretaties van barokke klassiekers (Bach, Lully, Couperin), folkmelodieÙn en nieuwe composities. Max Bailie (viool), Olav LuksengÕrd Mjelva (hardangerviool) en Erik Rydvall (nyckelharpa) brengen nieuwe kwaliteiten van deze instrumenten naar voren, terwijl ze tegelijkertijd een eerbetoon brengen aan een veelgeprezen muzikale periode.
