If you like rhythmic acoustic guitar with percussive and atmospheric instrumentation, this album is for you. There are no vocals here because there are times when the melodies speak for themselves. These are songs that have been written with no preconception of sales, genre, etc. It is honest music, from the heart, that stems from appreciation of many musical styles and instrumentation. The goal of this music is escapism. I want to take you off of the planet temporarily to a wonderful place. I have tried to be imaginative and have played the majority of the instruments myself. There are a host of different instruments on this album including the gong (thanks to Helene Sherwood), talking drums, djembes, rain sticks, chimes, and of course guitar.
