Original music of Japanese flutist & composer, Sumiko Fukatsu. Futured flute with Piano, Synth, Bass, Perc, Flugelhorn. SUMIKO FUKATSU is an unequaled talent with boundless creativity and immense energy. Her musical acumen has taken her to Europe, Cuba, Canada, and America. She participated in the International Latin Jazz Festival in Havana - 2000 and was heralded as an asset to Cuban music. Sumiko Fukatsu's remarkable career took flight at Keio University where she received her Masters Degree in French Literature, but her musical talent was evident during her high school years at Tokyo Unviversity of Arts. She has enjoyed sharing her talent with Kenny Wheeler, Compay Segundo, Bobby Carcasses and others. The artist lives in Tokyo.
