Candace Carnie has been playing, singing and composing for the past twenty-five years. The musical road has taken her throughout Canada, to Japan, the Dominican Republic and the U.S.A. Her eclectic repertoire contains an array of romantic folk, jazz, klezmer, celtic, and pop ballads. She has been music director for both university and community theatre productions, and has performed in various folk festivals and clubs. Candace is an accomplished pianist, vocalist and songwriter. Her live performances showcase her quirky sense of humour as well as her incredible musical talents. Her CD, 'madd river', was released in 1997. 'madd river' is a collection of original songs (one cover) and the styles range from easy listening to celtic and folk to pop ballads. There are several very beautiful instrumental pieces on the CD. Candace plays piano and keyboard and sings on most of the numbers, with a a few other musical collaborations on some songs (such as the bagpipes on Pipe Me Home)
