Miles Corbin wrote these songs in the 1980's and the lryrics about being famous seems appropo now more than ever w/ the internet, myspace and youtube, etc.Miles, who has received much attention as the guitarist for the surf instro band the Aqua Velvets, also sings and composes lyrics and music. On this ep, he channels the style of Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground, who were leaders of the New York music/art revolution w/ Andy Warhol in the 1960's. another quirky tune is Electric Cars which is still very modern and current as ever.
