Oxford, Mississippis Sanders Bohlke has shared stages with artists such as Badly Drawn Boy, Tom Morello and Gomez and, along the way, compiled an impressive collection of songs that, in an unusual move, have been released as EPs and digital singles. Recorded in between friends studios and his grandmothers basement, tracks such as "The Weight Of Us" (which you may have heard in a film or two) and "Quiet Ye Voices" are far from uniform but alike in their diversion from his earlier work -- the tone is darker, the instrumentation more complex, and his voice a rich wonder of gauzy soul.
