It's as chilling as it is danceable. "Read, Repeat, Forget" is a standout moment - a sophisticated EBM piece that critiques functional illiteracy in a deeply infectious groove. "Open A Clinic In Japan" may be the album's most experimental offering - slow, hypnotic, and drenched in modern-oriental psychedelia. It's a twilight zone of sound, simultaneously gentle and disorienting. The intensity surges back with The Worm - tight, hammering, and vocally powerful - before veering into surrealism with the ironically cheerful "Apres-midi Paranoiaque", a French-styled piece that masks unsettling lyrics beneath its whimsical delivery. Instrumental interlude "White Mood" brings rhythmic relief, while "Black Pink Panthers" harks back to the band's core identity with spectral electronics and a captivatingly sensual vocal performance.

Clinics And Models is a triumph of vision, sound design, and storytelling. It's rare to encounter an electro/EBM album that combines so many bold ideas without ever feeling bloated.
