Suddenlash is a Soundtrack Symphonic Metal Band from Barcelona. Our style is based on a lyric, very personal, lead female voice together with dense orchestrations and heavy obstinated rythms. Our songs speak of epic stories and about self conciensceness as well. Emotion is for sure our main goal. Our intent, of course, is to add something new to a probably already overloaded showcase of proposals. We love Metal. We are metallers! And nevertheless we are not ashamed at all if we incorporate some 'touches' apparently more related with other musical styles (Folk, Classical, Electronic.). We like dense orchestrations and piano arpeggios, along with choirs and power chords. In fact, we believe that putting violins and electric guitars side by side has been one of the finest achievements throughout music history. Music has to be touching -when the work of art is devoid of emotion, it somehow fails it's most important goal. Suddenlash is trying hard on that way. Lyrics have to be connected with personal experiences, melodies and harmonies must be intimately mingled with those feelings, and last but not least, human voice is meant to be the ultimate moving vehicle for all that put together. Suddenlash really wishes our music pleases you. If that is so, we hope to perform for you in the next future. From you comes our energy and our very raison d'être.
