The label has also issued acclaimed vinyl only releases by Toronto rock outfit C'mon, Read's teenage Death Metal band Death Militia, and local pop-punk duo, Bash Brothers.
Presenting super-heavy, riff-driven wig-outs, lush psych-folk, hypnotic instrumental explorations and reflective, dreamy interludes, Mission Collapse. is an impeccably crafted, neo-psychedelic masterpiece in the free-roaming spirit of such as Wooden Shjips or Animal Collective, yet draws on a vast array of influences way beyond the obvious. The hard-gigging Moths & Locusts claim Boris, Hawkwind, Tangerine Dream, Motorhead, Stereolab, Sunn O))), The Cure, My Bloody Valentine, Ramones, early Pink Floyd, Krautrock, deep electronica and visceral punk rock as just a tiny fraction of the inspirations channelled into their majestic, emotionally impacting rock music.
