After making a powerhouse record in 2007 with his hard-working NYC band, songwriter/guitarist Adam Levy(Tracy Chapman, Norah Jones) decided that the surest way to grow as an artist would be to work on some musicfor-one. He spent the early months of 2010 crafting a batch of personal songs-ranging across a broad emotional spectrum-then journeyed to Portland, Oregon, to work with producer/engineer Mark Orton (Tin Hat Trio). Levys CD, The Heart Collector, is proof that his instincts were right all along.
