Eugenia Georgieva groeide op in Bulgarije en trad als kind al op festivals op. Nadat ze naar London verhuisd is, verdiepte ze zich verder in traditionele Bulgaarse muziek in a-cappellagroepen als het Perunika Trio. Op deze cd zingt ze traditionele liederen over revolutionairen, een mythische draak, rozenstruiken en andere themas. Ze wordt begeleid door een viertal muzikanten op o.a. kaval en gadulka.
