Come What May

Ge´nspireerd door het horen van Big Bill Broonzy en Ramblin Jack Elliott leerde Wizz Jones zijn gitaarlicks van Davy Graham en Long John Baldry toen hij in de jaren 50 in de bars van Soho speelde. Pete Berryman speelde in de jaren 60 met the Famous Jug Band en maakte opnames met Ralph McTell en Al Stewart . Het zijn twee totaal verschillende gitaristen, die elkaar perfect aanvullen. Ze hoeven niets te bewijzen, maar spelen heerlijk relaxt een aantal van hun eigen nummers, met zoon Simeon Jones op sax en fluit. A wonderfully unhurried album, full of mutual respect and musical empathy, schreef fROOTS.
