Voodoo Love Inna Champeta-land

Drie jaar is er gewerkt aan het project Voodoo Love Inna Champeta-land (champeta is de ruige Afro-Colombiaanse muziek van de Colombiaans-Caribische kust). O.l.v. de Kongolese gitarist/arrangeur Bopol Mansiamina (Les Quatres Etoiles) creÙerden drie populaire champeta-muzikanten samen met Afrikaanse stergitaristen als Sekou Diabate (Bembeya Jazz) en Diblo Dibala (Loketo, Kanda Bongo Man) een van de verrassendste cross-overcd van dit jaar. Van cumbia tot soukous, van chalupa tot afrobeat, het is allemaal vertegenwoordigd.
