There is always a crackle of tension in the air on the first day of rehearsal. The coming together of actors with one goal in mind: to create the first ever studio cast recording of SOMETHING'S AFOOT a musical whodunnit I had co written with Rob Gerlach & David Vos some fifty years ago. While the show had played Broadway and the West End in the 1970's and was a staple of stock and regional theaters around the world it had never been recorded.

Some of the older cast members who gathered for the first table read had a vague knowledge of the show but most were not even born when AFOOT originated.
