With his favourite arranger, Ronald Binge, Mantovani created the 'cascading strings' effect, the shimmering strings sound that stunned the world. This CD contains all Mantovani's hit records in both Britain and America up to 1962 as well as other tracks, one that was released in Australia, but not in Britain or America. Also included is the ever-popular 'Theme from A Summer Place' which was an album only track. The CD booklet tells the Mantovani story from the 20s to the 60s.
