Country hit singles were recorded by the great Roy Acuff, Cowboy Copas, and Jimmie and Leon Short, and revival versions on LP by the legendary Kitty Wells, Eddy Arnold, and Webb Pierce.
Within a short period of time lush arrangements appeared by Sammy Kaye, Percy Faith, Billy Vaughn, The Ames Brothers, Don Robertson.
