Gary Miller was a popular entertainer in Britain for over twenty years, first under his birth name, then when re-christened Gary Miller. This 29 track package covers all his singles released on the Philips, Nixa and Pye labels between 1953 and 1962, the first time such a package has been issued in Britain. All his hit singles are included, his 78rpm-only Philips shellacs and his single on which he was partnered by fellow Pye artiste, Marion Ryan. The CD includes his cover versions of U.S. hits, 'Mission Bell', 'Lollipop' and 'Mr. Lonely' as well as songs written by legendary writers Lerner & Loewe, Bacharach & David and Sammy Cahn & Jules Styne. This is the first compilation of Gary Miller's work since 2008 and is sure to find a ready market. The CD booklet includes a detailed history of Miller's life and career as well as label scans, reviews and press ads.
