I remember that first day when we ran from the downpour and took refuge in the same doorway. Dripping wet and freezing cold on that wonderful winter's day. I took comfort in your smile and felt sheltered from the storm. We were good together, we made each other whole. It's been a long time since that day, most memories are happy and some sad because it rained the day you left and I can't help but wonder if I'll ever find you again, though I look in every doorway, it's lonely without you and I always think of you .
